I am consistantly amazed at what wonderful experiences I attract into my life! I spent the evening with friends enjoying the play Heartbreak Hotel at the McKinney Performing Arts Center in downtown McKinney, Texas. My friend Janye Anderson was performing in the play and generously gave me free tickets! After the play we went on Shannon's carriage ride around the historical district in McKinney. Shannon's white horses that pull the carriage are beautiful. Shannon is very knowledgable about the history of McKinney, hearing about all the homes and seeing them from her carriage is so much fun. After our carriage ride we sat outside on the square and enjoyed each others company. It was a wonderful evening!
If you live in the McKinney area, come on down to the square, the atmosphere is wonderful and the area has such good energy. If Shannon isn't off with her carriage sharing her stories, you'll find her outside Rick's Chop House, waiting for the next lucky couple or group of friends who decide to finish their night off in style with her and her horses!

ReplyDeleteThe play was great! Jayne is a very talented and gifted actress! Shannon is so sweet! She knows a lot about McKinney history...past and present. Downtown McKinney is full of great positive energy and is a great escape from everyday life. There are so many different places to visit that it's a different experience every time we visit.
